Frankfurt, Germany, 25 January 2024: Genesis has won gold at the BrandEx Awards, in the ‘Best Store Concept’ category for its interactive pop-up experience, "Sound of Serenity," located in the recently opened Battersea Power Station.

The BrandEx Awards celebrates outstanding brand experiences in the form of live communication in temporary and permanent architecture. The win is a testament to the Korean luxury brand’s commitment to design, technology and innovation.

The Best Store Concept category recognises the design and architecture of a brand space and the way in which it captivates visitors. The “Sound of Serenity” pop-up at the Genesis Battersea Studio was open to the public for three months and featured interactive touchpoints centred around the electric line-up; Electrified GV70, G80 and GV60.

Visitors were able to immerse themselves in the brand's distinctly Korean heritage at the unique space and explore the model line-up and configurations. The pop-up was rewarded for its innovative design and impressive features, including the “Sound Sculpture” – an Electrified GV70 suspended from the ceiling in a translucent LED glass cube – and the “Mood Wheel” touchpoint, where visitors could experience different kinds of white noises along with the Genesis Sounds of Nature, available on the entire Genesis line-up.

The installation showcased Genesis Vehicle-to-Load  technology to power the Sound Sculpture by using energy stored in the battery, exemplifying Genesis' commitment to the future of electrification. Echoing the brand's dedication to pushing the boundaries of creativity, the “Sound of Serenity” pop-up was inspired by Genesis’ award-winning all electric models. Their distinctive design and technology are embodied in the pop-up, showcasing not only architectural excellence, but also the brand's sustainable and cutting-edge automotive technology.
