Lawrence Hamilton was appointed Managing Director of Genesis Motor Europe on 1 September 2022. Hamilton has worked in the auto sector for almost three decades, spending a combined total of 16 years with Hyundai Motor Group. His tenure with the Group began in 2004 at Kia Motors UK, with progressive roles in marketing communications, after which he worked with for the Toyota brand in Saudi Arabia as Director of Marketing Communications.
In 2015, Hamilton returned to Hyundai Motor Group to lead Hyundai Auto Canada’s Marketing division and in 2021 was appointed Executive Director of Genesis Motors Canada. His experience brings a breadth of international, well-rounded experience in the areas of regional management, business operations, and marketing.
In his current role at Genesis, Lawrence is based at the brand’s European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany and oversees the entirety of the European business
