FRANKFURT, Germany Feb. 3rd 2023: This month will see Genesis Motor Europe once again sponsor luxury equestrian event White Turf St. Moritz.
The Korean premium car company, along with Credit Suisse, is the main sponsor and official mobility partner of the renowned horseracing event. Following a successful debut last year, Genesis Motor Europe has extended its partnership to a main sponsor three-year agreement to last until 2026.
White Turf is one of the most luxurious and internationally renowned horse racing events in Europe with a longstanding tradition which sees jockeys take to the frozen lake in an exhilarating race in the shadow of the stunning Swiss Alps. It is only fitting therefore that Genesis, a company dedicated to first-class hospitality, is bringing its own interpretation of luxury and mobility, service excellence and horsepower to the event. Lawrence Hamilton, Managing Director of Genesis Motor Europe, said: “We are excited to be back in St. Moritz with a wider partnership and a more extensive range of cars this time. Collaborating with such a prestigious European event is a great showcase for our brand and we had such positive feedback from guests last year, we’re looking forward to elevating their experience even further. We’ve also launched three new all-electric models in the last year, all of which are available to test drive during White Turf. With the recent opening of a second Genesis Studio in Basel to grow our retail presence outside of Zurich, we are really pleased with how Genesis is being received in Switzerland.”
As a main sponsor Genesis will enjoy an impactful brand visibility including a Genesis hospitality tent inside the event village and offer an exclusive test drive experience at the entrance of the event village. All models will be available for a driving experience.
Renowned award-winning Korean chef Mun Kim from Munich (Germany) will join forces with the new Swiss Genesis brand partner chef Dominik Hartmann creating a bespoke menu for White Turf guests to sample and enjoy Korean-inspired flavours and produce alongside with fine Swiss vegetarian delicacies. This marks the second collaboration between Mun Kim and Genesis following his development of a fusion menu for the Genesis Scottish Open golf tournament last yearand the first collaboration with Swiss 2-Michelin star chef Dominik Hartmann who has been recently appointed new brand partner of Genesis Motor Switzerland.
With a focus on service excellence, embodying the brand’s Korean ethos of son-nim - meaning ‘guest’ and ‘nim’ being an honour, Genesis will offer attendees of White Turf exclusive hospitality throughout the duration of the event. Guests will also be able to drive a Genesis model of their choice through the beautiful snow-capped Engadin mountains.
From the electric range, guests will have a choice of the Genesis GV60, a bold electric model with a sleek and athletic crossover styling, the Electrified G80, a modern interpretation of the classic sedan profile and lastly the Electrified GV70 - an SUV delivering exceptional driving performance with highest standards in luxury, versatility, and comfort. Petrol and diesel options of the popular GV70 and GV80 SUVs, G80 and G70 sedans as well as the stylish G70 Shooting Brake model will also be available.
Test drives can be booked either in advance or via the Genesis Test Drive location on site during the event.
