CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER AND CHIEF BRAND OFFICER - GENESIS BRAND

Luc Donckerwolke is the Chief Creative Officer and Chief Brand Officer for Genesis and over a 30-year career has helped transform the design of worldwide brands that include Bentley, Lamborghini, Skoda, Seat, Audi and more recently Hyundai Motor Group.

During his career Luc has been responsible for concept development and design which has helped to increase brand awareness and sales. This is no more apparent that during his time at SEAT where Luc worked on the Tribu concept vehicle at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, closely followed by the SEAT Ibiza and Leon which have been instrumental in one of the brands best selling cars of all time.

When Luc was Head of Design at Lamborghini, he was responsible for models such as the Diablo GT, Murcielago and Gallardo where he won numerous awards like the Red Dot Award in 2003 and the Hall of fame in recognition of his work in Sant’ Agata Bolognese. More recently Luc was appointed Bentley Director of Design, a role which saw him oversee the design of future Bentley models among which the EXP 10 speed 6 to rejuvenate the Bentley DNA before being appointed the role of Chief Creative Officer at Genesis. Luc has been instrumental in the design and development of vehicles such as the GV80, G80 and G90. He has received the Hall of fame for his entire career and was a finalist for the 2021 World Car Person of the Year.

Luc is a car fanatic and gets inspired from contrasting hobbies like spirited drives in the vintage racing Porsches he collects and restores and his passion for technology, robotics as well as challenging perspectives on future  mobility.
