SangYup Lee is the Global Head of Design for Genesis. In this role, Mr. Lee is in charge of enhancing the design competitiveness of the Genesis brand where he oversees all aspects of design from initial concept, strategy and execution for all new and future models.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Lee worked for Bentley as its exterior designer where he was best known for his work with fellow Genesis executive Luc Donckerwolke on key projects such as the Bentley Bentayga and Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept.
Lee has also served as Chief Exterior Designer of VW/Audi’s Advanced studio in California for Volkswagen AG prior to joining the Hyundai Motor Group.
