- Genesis Motor Europe launches inaugural Genesis European Golf Cup, a new amateur tournament series across Europe
- Local Qualifying Tournaments in four countries between 1 April and 23 May 2026
- European Final to be held during the Genesis Scottish Open in July 2026

Frankfurt, Germany, 18 March 2026: Genesis Motor Europe has today announced the inaugural season of the Genesis European Golf Cup, a new amateur tournament designed to bring golfers and customers together at iconic courses across Europe.
Local Qualifying Tournaments will be held between 1 April and 23 May 2026, across six locations in four European countries:
- 1 April – Golf della Montecchia, Padova, Italy (By Invitation Only)
- 11 April – Gold de Bondues, Lille, France (By Invitation Only)
- 29 April – Olgiata Golf Club, Rome, Italy (Application Deadline: 8 April)
- 9 May – The Grove, London, UK (Application Deadline: 19 April)
- 20 May – Golf Club Carimate, Milan, Italy (Application Deadline: 19 April)
- 23 May – Golf Club Kornberg, Frankfurt, Germany (Application Deadline: 24 April)
At each event, up to four winners will secure a place to participate at the European Final taking place at The Renaissance Club during the Genesis Scottish Open. Finalists will be hosted as guests of Genesis at the tournament from 11 to 13 July, playing in the Genesis European Golf Cup Final on 13 July.
The amateur tournament joins the brand’s global portfolio of professional golf tournament partnerships, including The Genesis Scottish Open in Europe, The Genesis Championship in Korea, as well as The Genesis Invitational, The President’s Cup and TGL in America. The competition also provides a platform to introduce Genesis’ distinctly Korean approach to hospitality to a new generation of golfers and golf fans in Europe.

Notes to Editors
To be eligible to compete in the Genesis European Golf Cup, individuals hoping to participate must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a legal resident in the country in which they hope to compete.
- Hold a valid and officially registered handicap index (HCP) of -36.0 or below, issued by a recognised national golf federation.
- Have registered for the event ballot here before their Local Qualifying Tournament’s application deadline.
